My good friend and tech goddess, Christa Moore, put this together for me, and I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to unveil it. Christa and I went to college together at Morehead State University (go Eagles), and she recently left the business world after twenty years to start her own business. And when I say she worked, she reallllllllllly worked. While I was home eating Doritos and chugging Coke, Christa was working at some really big powerhouse places.
First off, I’d like to thank Gigi Siguenza for the two “movie frame” Grade A Stupid and No Brainer web banners that Christa incorporated at the top. Gigi runs eBook Lovers Co-op and is a big supporter of Indie Authors. Secondly, I’d like to thank you, the readers. When I had the dream for Darcy Walker five years ago, I never imagined I’d have a website or international fan base where I could talk to people regularly that loved Darcy and her world. It’s been wonderful, humbling beyond measure, and a wild ride. And thirdly, I’d like to thank the Good Lord Above for getting me this far.
I’ve got some really big plans for the site. I plan to blog (seriously, God help me) plus have guest bloggers and hopefully do some interviewing. My first love was always journalism, so I do love talking to other people and hearing their stories.
If you’d like to follow the blog, then please input your email in the little box at the lower righthand corner, and updates will be delivered to your inbox. Also, if you have any ideas for the site or things you’d like to see about the Darcy Walker Series or anything else you think fans would enjoy, please send them my way, too. I love new ideas and aim to please!
And if you’re an author or business owner in need of a website–or would just like to give yours a facelift–then please, please contact Christa at Strength of Mind Partners. I can wholeheartedly say that she’s funny (a requirement for me), honest (an even bigger requirement), with a wonderful eye for what works and what doesn’t work.
